Camille's Sketch No. 8

This is a drawing I drew! The original photo is an ad from the design Lanvin. The picture contains a model looking at a mirror, just in case you cannot see through my sloppy version, haha! Oh, and I am aware of the model's wait. She doesn't look like a skeleton in the real picture!

A new rule / TYAB News

In case any of you reading are on the TYAB team or ever will be I would like to remind you NEVER post music. Camille and I love our playlist, and do not want anything to interupt with the flow of the music. Especially Britney Spears and the Pussy-Cat Dolls. They are nice, but not good for an art blog.

To put us in a good mood again, feast upon the news...

Possible the most talented artist on stardoll is joining the team. Only hours, before you get to meet her. You're in for quite a....

Suprise!

Camille's Sketch No. 6 and No. 7

Hey, again. Sorry for the lack of posts, I've been busier than you can ever imagine. Think of the hardest and most difficult school week, then times it by a billion, and it's STILL not what I'm going through, haha. Anyway, back to art.

This is a sort of messed up and distorted drawing of model Mia wearing a minimalistic Calvin Klein dress while holding a Dooney & Bourke satchel. Trust me, she's much prettier in the spread! The real picture can be found in US Elle September 2008

This is a picture from US Harper's Bazaar, February 2009. Model Heidi Mount (I am assuming. All of the models had the same hair and makeup) is wearing a Gianfranco Ferre dress and a pair of luxurious Gucci shoes.

Sketch no.3-Something I Drew

Again, picture quality is horrendous, I hate Sony CyberShots.
It's not very good.
I've just finished one of Audrey. Hopefully, I'll upload it soon.

Anthony's Drawing No.5

Yet another image from my mind. I guess it has some sort of subliminal advertisement for crack. (the girls are very skinny!)

Sketch Two- Agyness Deyn Loves You

I'm a total Agyness Deyn fan, like so many of you out there, so, in honour of her, I drew this potrait of her, inspired from the Jean Paul Gaultier MaDame Parfum ad. I think the advertisment totall captured who she is, the model she is and her style.
That is why I chose this one!
I hope y'all like it!
Criticism and/or praise (=P) is much appreciated.

Rebel against the conventionality of Fashion. Be original. Be you. That is Agyness for me.

Hello!

I'm not sure as to how I begin.
So I'll start with a, "Hello", "Bonjour", "Namaste" and "Ahlan Wasalan"! These are the only 'hello's, I know, fortunately or unfortunately. You decide. Oh and "Nee-How!", if I have offended any Chinese members, I am sorry, I don't know how to spell it.

Well, after that ramble!

I would love to thank Camille and Anthony. I'm so excited that I get to display my art, to the collective worldwide audience of Stardoll.

I'm not a labelled personality, not famous [on stardoll, or, otherwise, come to think of it. I wish they sang songs by me in China, like they do for Wacko Jacko] , and, I wouldn't like to be.

So, to, give you a taste of my bittersweet poison:

Taste this.

Camilles Sketch No. 3

Hello again! I drew this picture last week after seeing a photograph on a favorite fashion blogs of mine, knighttcat.blogspot.com. However, because it was a photo, I do not know the designer of the mask nor dress! All I know is the charming model's name is Chloe.

More Artists Wanted!

If you think that you are great at drawing, designing, writing (liturature, poetry, songs, etc.), graphic designing or some miscelanious form of self expression ad me on stardoll.com under springate or lovinitlovinit and share a peice of your art!
Thanks...
And enjoy:

The City: Modern Film Noir

My City Screams

Synopsis

Adapted from the legendary comic strip, The Spirit is a classic action-adventure-romance told by Genre-Twister Frank Miller (Creator of 300 and Sin City). It is the story of a former rookie cop who returns mysteriously from the dead as The Spirit (Gabrielle Macht) to fight crime in the shadows of Central City.

His arch-enemy, The Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson) has a different mission: He's going to wipe out spirit's beloved city as her pursues his own version of immortality. The Spirit tracks this cold-hearted killer from Central City's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront... all while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, or or kill our masked crusader. Surrounding him at every turn are Ellen Dolan (Sarah Paulson), the whip-smart girl-next-dorr; Silken Floss (Scarlett Johansson), a punk secretary and frigid vixen; Plaster of Paris (Paz Vega), a murderous French nightclub dancer, Lorelei (Jaimi King), a phantom siren; and Morgenstern (Stana Katic), a sexy young cop.

Then of course, there's Sand Saref (eva Mendes), the jewel thief with dangerous curves. She's the love of the Spirit's life turned bad. Will he save her or will she kill him? In the vein of Batman Begins and Sin City, the Spirit takes up on a sinister, gut wrenching ride with a hero who is born, murdered and born again.

Artistic Cinematography

This modern day avant gaurde film noir has power. Every scene is set in a dark place. The color red is magnified to amazing splendor. The soles of Spirit's shoes are whiter than ice. Strobe lighting is even used in several scenes at the beginning. Everything builds to a turn of the century feel. With wit and hidden genious, the way you look at movies will change. A diamond is not a diamond until you have seen it in The Spirit.

Fashion

Sand Saref's obsession de jeur with diamonds reaches a new height with al of the Bvlgari jewellry included. I even remember seeing Blumarine, and several vintage peices. This movie literally blows your mind away with it's in art.
