Mischa Barton

Sorry for the lack of posts! This is for a friend. It's just a simple sketch, I didn't really focus on details or anything. It's rather sloppy and blurry. I'm trying to figure out my scanner. Until I learn, I'll photoshop my drawings to try to make them a tad bit clearer. It's still pretty blurry. SORRY. It's Mischa Barton and someone else at a party.

Sketch

Hey! Sorry it's been a while. But it's summer now, so I'll draw more often! :)
And, no more blurry pictures from my iPhone. I can SCAN now! Yay!
I drew this picture earlier today. It's from Vogue Italia Beauty June 2009. I found it on one of the best blogs ever, http://r1ma.blogspot.com/. So many pictures! Love it!
That's all I have right now, but I'll draw more later. Byee!

So Sorry.

Wow, it's been a while. I'm rather sorry. Lots has happened. I haven't had any inspiration to draw, so all of my stuff in my notebook is doodles, which you don't want to see. So, the two drawings I'm posting are from weeks ago. My camera on my phone was also broken for a while, but now it's fixed! And finally, exams are tomorrow. So I've been wrapped up in studies. There. That's all the excuses I can think of! :P

P.S. I'm pretty sure Anthony won't be posting here anymore. :( And also, I'm too lazy to go track down what magazines/models/designers I drew. Sorry!

We have a winner!

Okay, aparently the little contest was a bit easy. Yes, it is Balmain fall 2009. Princess.x.me was the first to guess it, so please contact me (lovinitlovinit) and place your order for what gift you'd like. Congrats! :)

Sorry, I have no drawings to post. I've lost my notebook, yet again. Plus, I have no muses. I'm considering drawing portraits of any daring participants..? Yah? Nah?

That's all.
P.S. What happened to the playlist? I don't recall Pokerface being on there last time. I really enjoyed the old playlist.

Mini-Contest

This is the little friendly competition I mentioned earlier. All you have to do is try and guess the designer who made this gorgously architectured dress. The first one to guess correctly will get one gift of their choice for their Stardoll account. :)

Hint: It's from Fall 2009, and this dress is pretty typical of the designer.

Note: I designed the shoes! I got inspiration from Balenciaga booties and the Rodarte spike heels.

And just 'cause...
I was digging threw my garage and came across this feller! I drew this BEFORE I was even living in my current house, so this sketch is probably 4+. Don't criticize my sloppy shading, I was only about 8 or 9!

Hi there.I'm so so sorry I couldn't post any new drawings lately here(and in my own blog either, just so you know that I'm not letting this blog down...).I have been so busy at school with so many exams, projects and I have only had time to change my outfit in Stardoll and stuff like that.I think things are gonna change now and I'm gonna post some drawings really soon. Well,I've made some drawings and left them in my desk for some days(the drawings were great, inspired my ELLE)......and after some days,I didn't even find them :( I'm still looking hard to find them post them in here.
My sorries again.

Two Faces

Hey all. Sorry, the blog has sort of been vacant. But I have excuses! I've been very occupied with work and friends! In fact, I just got in from a week long class field trip, and I am exhausted. As if that weren't enough, I lost my notebook for a few weeks. But! I found it a few seconds ago! :)

So, these were drawings from a few weeks ago. They came from my head!

This one is so obvious; harajuku inspired. I was really jonesing to mess with the makeup and hair, so voila. (BTW, shoutout to all the Gaga fans. I took a tip from her and did my rendition of a "hair" bow!)

And then I have this one. I did this while the cable man was fixing my phones! (Yes, I had no power for like, three days. I think the neighbors are cutting our wires!) It's basically your average private school girl. It's not my best, but I felt like playing with emotions. She's supposed to be nervous or something. So, yeah!
P.S. I'm working on a drawing right now. It's a mystery. I'm going to make it into a little contest, so stay connected! :)

So Sorry.

Dear readers,
I AM SO SORRY FOR NEGLECTING YOU! In the midst of my move to Miami, I had no time to draw, work on the computer or draw. I just added to the playlist, and I have a FEW old drawings. I will post them now, but soom I will start showing pictures of my painting!

While I was moving, (some random things that happened) I gave up 'partying' for lent, I discovered a new artist, whose style I would LOVE to mimic - Gustav Klimt, an Austrian symbolist painter. I moved to Miami, more detailed... Americana Manhasset. The shopping is GREAT! I have updated my wardrobe to be more spring-y. I will be in NYC over spring break, so I will not update quite frequently! I have visited Bal Harbour a few times. It is very pleasant. I cannot BELIEVE that Puig Group did not re-do Olivier Theyskens's contract! My best friend since the age of 3, moved with me and is currently sitting on my lap while I type! Last nut not least, I subscribed to WWD (women's wear daily)!

Well, that's anout it! Enjoy! (I will not be returning to stardoll.com, just so you know)

I re-drew M.C. Escher's classic Drawing Hands on the drive with our clothes (you don't ship it... WRINKLES! plus, wrinkles ruin designer clothes!) to Manhasset.

I'm back!

Sorry. I haven't been so faithful to my sketchbook...but I've begun to self-teach myself to draw without a picture! :) Anyway this is what I've managed to jot...

This is a picture from a blog I love like my own (knighttcat.blogspot.com), so I do not know the model or the designers. (Most - if not all - is Chanel.)

I drew this from my mind! :)

This is by far my least favorite. It was my first attempt at drawing a full-blown figure (and design) without looking at any reference. So, ignore the face and wierd shading, please! (My favorite part is the shoes! :D)

And then lastley, I drew this one from 10 Magazine. The shirt and bustier trousers are by Yves Saint Laurent, the bracelets are Patricia Von Musulin, and the belts are by Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, and a vintage one from Cherry.
That's all I have for now, more to come in the future.
P.S. I've been having a rough time finding pictures to draw! Please leave suggestion! Thanks! (Oh, and I know the quality is poor. I'm going to learn how to scan one of these days!)

Valentine's Day Bonanza

Oh my goodness! I am so sorry, I've totally been forgetting to update. I drew three pictures for the blog in the spirit of Valentine's Day, yet I'm posting them on the 16th. Go figure. Anyway, the picture above is something from my head! I named her Sloane! :)

This is an Ad featuring Kate Moss for Versace. I fell in love with the heart dress! Immediate affection.

And, finally. This isn't exactly a straight forward Valentinsey picture, but it reminds me of that caberet 20's love type of mood. Showgirls, and what not. Any way this is an Ad for Alberta Ferretti.
Don't worry, I'll draw more, and update frequently. :)
Hope everyone had a delicious holiday!

Valentino

I drew this one from memory, so she looks more full figured than I would have liked her to look. But, hey, that's just my interpretation.

Anthony's Sketch No.6

Below is the Eye of a Prada ad for men's cologne. I couldn't resist drawing it, and ended up turning it in as homework! I got an A+! Haha.

Sincerest Appologies

Dear Readers,
I'm very sorry that I haven't posted in so long. Not that I don't have new sketches out the wazoo, it's just that I have been doing so much vacationing. From the 21 of January 'til the 26, I was in Las Vegas, and since last Tuesday, I was in Valparaiso vacationing with my family.

Soon to come:

-Prada cologne ad
-Givenchy ad
-Something very near and dear to my heart! (it involves Lancome cosmetics)

Love...
Anthony

Camille's Sketch No. 10

Hey, it's me again. Sorry, I'm not trying to neglect this blog on purpose. I just haven't been drawing lately! Wait, let me correct that. I haven't had the time to draw lately. These passing weeks have been total chaos for me, and I have literally been more stressed than ever.
Anyway, I drew this picture about a week ago. I free-drew this, so it definately is NOT my very best! I bought Vogue yesterday, so I'll probably have a new drawing soon.

Camille's Sketch No. 8

This is a drawing I drew! The original photo is an ad from the design Lanvin. The picture contains a model looking at a mirror, just in case you cannot see through my sloppy version, haha! Oh, and I am aware of the model's wait. She doesn't look like a skeleton in the real picture!

Painting

Just thinking to eat some apples lol:). It was such a hard work doing this painting in this time, since I have the exams now.It was so much time getting tired,Painting at the night,But it Did Worth ,totally.I just love painting!!!!!!!!I'll post some new drawings too.
Bye(For the moment)

A new rule / TYAB News

In case any of you reading are on the TYAB team or ever will be I would like to remind you NEVER post music. Camille and I love our playlist, and do not want anything to interupt with the flow of the music. Especially Britney Spears and the Pussy-Cat Dolls. They are nice, but not good for an art blog.

To put us in a good mood again, feast upon the news...

Possible the most talented artist on stardoll is joining the team. Only hours, before you get to meet her. You're in for quite a....

Suprise!

Camille's Sketch No. 6 and No. 7

Hey, again. Sorry for the lack of posts, I've been busier than you can ever imagine. Think of the hardest and most difficult school week, then times it by a billion, and it's STILL not what I'm going through, haha. Anyway, back to art.

This is a sort of messed up and distorted drawing of model Mia wearing a minimalistic Calvin Klein dress while holding a Dooney & Bourke satchel. Trust me, she's much prettier in the spread! The real picture can be found in US Elle September 2008

This is a picture from US Harper's Bazaar, February 2009. Model Heidi Mount (I am assuming. All of the models had the same hair and makeup) is wearing a Gianfranco Ferre dress and a pair of luxurious Gucci shoes.

Sketch no.3-Something I Drew

Again, picture quality is horrendous, I hate Sony CyberShots.
It's not very good.
I've just finished one of Audrey. Hopefully, I'll upload it soon.

Anthony's Drawing No.5

Yet another image from my mind. I guess it has some sort of subliminal advertisement for crack. (the girls are very skinny!)

Sketch Two- Agyness Deyn Loves You

I'm a total Agyness Deyn fan, like so many of you out there, so, in honour of her, I drew this potrait of her, inspired from the Jean Paul Gaultier MaDame Parfum ad. I think the advertisment totall captured who she is, the model she is and her style.
That is why I chose this one!
I hope y'all like it!
Criticism and/or praise (=P) is much appreciated.

Rebel against the conventionality of Fashion. Be original. Be you. That is Agyness for me.

Camille's Sketch No. 5

I drew this picture of Alyona Osmanova (wearing a black cat-suit and a Giambattista Valli cape) from my latest muse, 10 Magazine Winter '08 (Issue 29).

Hello!

I'm not sure as to how I begin.
So I'll start with a, "Hello", "Bonjour", "Namaste" and "Ahlan Wasalan"! These are the only 'hello's, I know, fortunately or unfortunately. You decide. Oh and "Nee-How!", if I have offended any Chinese members, I am sorry, I don't know how to spell it.

Well, after that ramble!

I would love to thank Camille and Anthony. I'm so excited that I get to display my art, to the collective worldwide audience of Stardoll.

I'm not a labelled personality, not famous [on stardoll, or, otherwise, come to think of it. I wish they sang songs by me in China, like they do for Wacko Jacko] , and, I wouldn't like to be.

So, to, give you a taste of my bittersweet poison:

Taste this.

Anthony's Drawing No.4/TYAB News!

Camilles Sketch No. 3

Hello again! I drew this picture last week after seeing a photograph on a favorite fashion blogs of mine, knighttcat.blogspot.com. However, because it was a photo, I do not know the designer of the mask nor dress! All I know is the charming model's name is Chloe.

More Artists Wanted!

If you think that you are great at drawing, designing, writing (liturature, poetry, songs, etc.), graphic designing or some miscelanious form of self expression ad me on stardoll.com under springate or lovinitlovinit and share a peice of your art!
Thanks...
And enjoy:

The City: Modern Film Noir

My City Screams

Synopsis

Adapted from the legendary comic strip, The Spirit is a classic action-adventure-romance told by Genre-Twister Frank Miller (Creator of 300 and Sin City). It is the story of a former rookie cop who returns mysteriously from the dead as The Spirit (Gabrielle Macht) to fight crime in the shadows of Central City.

His arch-enemy, The Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson) has a different mission: He's going to wipe out spirit's beloved city as her pursues his own version of immortality. The Spirit tracks this cold-hearted killer from Central City's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront... all while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, or or kill our masked crusader. Surrounding him at every turn are Ellen Dolan (Sarah Paulson), the whip-smart girl-next-dorr; Silken Floss (Scarlett Johansson), a punk secretary and frigid vixen; Plaster of Paris (Paz Vega), a murderous French nightclub dancer, Lorelei (Jaimi King), a phantom siren; and Morgenstern (Stana Katic), a sexy young cop.

Then of course, there's Sand Saref (eva Mendes), the jewel thief with dangerous curves. She's the love of the Spirit's life turned bad. Will he save her or will she kill him? In the vein of Batman Begins and Sin City, the Spirit takes up on a sinister, gut wrenching ride with a hero who is born, murdered and born again.

Artistic Cinematography

This modern day avant gaurde film noir has power. Every scene is set in a dark place. The color red is magnified to amazing splendor. The soles of Spirit's shoes are whiter than ice. Strobe lighting is even used in several scenes at the beginning. Everything builds to a turn of the century feel. With wit and hidden genious, the way you look at movies will change. A diamond is not a diamond until you have seen it in The Spirit.

Fashion

Sand Saref's obsession de jeur with diamonds reaches a new height with al of the Bvlgari jewellry included. I even remember seeing Blumarine, and several vintage peices. This movie literally blows your mind away with it's in art.
